Bengals place TE Erick All Jr. on IR with a likely torn ACL
Cincinnati put All on injured reserve Tuesday after a source said the tight end is believed to have torn his ACL again in Sunday's win over Baltimore.
Why Erick All is trending
Erick All Jr. went on injured reserve Tuesday, and a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport the Bengals tight end is believed to have torn his ACL. That is the headline. The games are the backdrop.
The injury happened in Cincinnati's Week 7 win over Baltimore, a 35-13 final. All went down with less than six minutes left in the third quarter and did not return. If the early read holds up, his season is done.
The same knee, a third time
This would be the third torn ACL in All's right knee. The first came in 2023 at Iowa. The second came in 2024, his rookie season in the NFL. He sat out all of 2025 rehabbing that one.
All said he felt back to full strength heading into this season. Six games in, that looked true on the field. Now he is staring down a recovery he has already been through twice.
What All was doing before the injury
Through six games, All had settled in as Cincinnati's main dual-purpose tight end, the guy who splits time between run-blocking and catching passes depending on the down. He had eight catches for 56 yards when he went down against Baltimore.
Not huge numbers, but a real role on a team that won that game by three touchdowns. Losing him for the year changes how that tight end spot gets used the rest of the way.
Cincinnati's answer at tight end
The Bengals moved fast. They signed tight end Cam Grandy to the active roster off the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad in the wake of All's injury.
Grandy is not a stranger to the building. He spent two seasons with Cincinnati before getting waived in final roster cuts at the end of the preseason. Now he is back, filling the gap All leaves behind.
